Promoting Nutrition in Momba district: Seen in the picture above are farmers in Chilangu village, Nzoka ward in Momba district establishing one of the demonstration plots of Key-Hole and Sack Home garden Continuous availability of vegetables at household gardens enables continuous consumption of vegetables within the family and this is contributing the presence of food varieties at household level. Through consumption of balanced diet at household level addresses the challenges of of maternal anemia to pregnant mothers, and stunting to children 0-23 months and 24-59 months. The established gardens contain varieties of vegetables like Chinese cabbage, Amaranthus, kale ,Carrots and African-eggplant Mwanzo Bora Nutrition Program is implemented by ADP Mbozi and is funded by USAID through Africare Tanzania.
